In this episode of Going Global, we interviewed Peter Verwer, the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Global Business and Talent Attraction in Australia. Peter leads the Global Business and Talent Attraction Taskforce, which drives a whole-of-government effort to attract high-value enterprises and exceptionally talented individuals to Australia.
The goals is to help turbocharge the economic recovery following Covid-19, boost national resilience, and drive competitiveness. We talked about obtaining the new Global Talent visa, Australia’s role in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and its history of diversity and inclusion.
