For example, no person should be required to perform forced labor. Any employer found guilty of this is liable for a fine up to MK 10,000 or two years in prison. No one under the age of 14 can work in any sector, including public or private institutions, the agricultural industry, or industrial or nonindustrial branches. A child between 14 and 18 also cannot work in any occupation or activity that will harm their health, safety, education, morals, or development. The work cannot impact the child’s attendance at school or any vocational or training program.
