There is no minimum share capital requirement, but you must choose a unique company name that also has “Ltd.” or “Limited” at the end of the name.
All Ugandan companies need to appoint a company secretary, but there are no qualification requirements. Although the increased requirement from one to two directors has made it a little more difficult to incorporate, most companies still choose the LLC entity. Keep in mind that as a private LLC, you cannot provide company shares to the public.
