Michael McGovern is a partner of Wincove Private Holdings, an investment holding company which he co-founded in 2008. Michael has been investing in, and helping to build, high-growth private businesses for 25 years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of seven of Wincove’s portfolio companies, and has served on many other portfolio company Boards previously.
Prior to forming Wincove, Michael was a partner at a NY-based private equity firm with approximately $1 billion of capital under management, and previously worked in the investment banking group of Alex Brown.
Michael graduated from Boston College, summa cum laude. He and his family (wife and three children) live in the Boston area, where he is active in several non-profit and community-related activities.
